operation?
Most of our stores are open Monday through Friday from 7:00
am to 5:00 pm and some locations are open on Saturday. Please
check on our Locations
page that has specific information for each store.
It is important to note that Centreline Equipment Rentals
provides 24 hour service, although an after hour service
call fee may apply to this service.

Q: What type of Payments
do you Accept?
We accept cash, credit cards, certified cheques and debit
cards from any customer. If you apply and establish a
Commercial
Account with our company we also accept business cheques
and direct deposits.

Q: Can my company establish
a commercial account?
Yes you may. Please download our

Q: Where are your stores
located?
We are always growing and
expanding to serve our valued customers so check on our

page to see the hours, location, a map and the key contacts
for that particular store.

Q: When are rental fees due?
All rentals are paid at the end of the rental period, unless
you have an established commercial account or have made
different arrangements prior to you rental period. Credit
card deposits are required upon reservation or at the time
of rental, unless you have an established commercial account.

Q: Is identification required when renting equipment?
Yes, we require a valid driver's license for all cash customers

Q: Do I need
to make reservations for equipment rentals?
For all cash customers – reservations are made in person
at one of our stores. We do not take reservations over the
phone or online. A deposit is required for cash customers.
For Commercial Account customers – reservations can be made
through our website, by calling one of our locations, or
stopping by one of our stores. Although not required, reservations
are recommended in order to ensure the equipment you need
is available.

Q: Are deposits required
when I rent equipment?
For all cash customers a credit card deposit of 2 ½ times
the actual fee is required at the time of the rental. Some
items may require larger deposits. No deposits are required
for Commercial Account customers.

Q: What are your standard rental rates?
- 1 Day Rental = 8 hours usage in a 24 hour period
- 1 Week Rental = 40 hours usage in 7 day period
- 1 Month Rental = 160 hours in 28 day period
- Usage beyond the allowable hours are subject to
overtime fees

Q: How are your metered
items charged?
Rates for rental items equipped with hour meters are based
on 8 hours per usage and will be charged accordingly.

Q: If I keep equipment
overnight during the week what are the rental rates?
A 4 hour rate applies to equipment that is picked up at
4:00 pm or later, and returned before 9:00 am the following
day with no more than the allowable hours.

Q: What are your weekend
rental rates?
If the Centreline Equipment Rentals location IS OPEN
on Saturday:
- Saturday rentals picked up between
10:00am – 12:00pm and returned no later than
9:00am on Monday will be charged a 1 day rental with
no more than the allowable hours.
- Saturday rentals picked up before
10:00am and returned no later than 9:00am on
Monday will be charged a 1 ½ day rental with no more
than the allowable hours.
If the Centreline Equipment Rentals location IS NOT
open on Saturday:
- Friday rentals picked up after
4:00pm and returned no later than 9:00am on Monday
will be charged a 1 day rental with no more than the
allowable hours.

Q: What are your holiday
rental rates?
We do not charge extra for holiday rentals, however the
allowable hours still apply

Q: How do you charge for fuel?
Fuel is charged by the litre for all equipment, and rates
change weekly with the market prices. Rates are subject
to change without notice. If rental equipment is returned
with a full fuel tank no fuel charges will be applied. If
you plan to fill the fuel tank yourself, be aware that different
equipment may require unleaded gas, or dyed diesel, but
all equipment is properly labeled so please check each piece
of equipment before refueling.

Q: Do you offer delivery
and pickups?
Yes we do. Delivery and pick-ups are available at reasonable
rates. Please call for the charge to your specific location.
Delivery must be scheduled in advanced; however, we will
make every effort to accommodate deliveries on short notice.
We do not pre-arrange equipment pickups. Equipment must
be called off and a Centreline Equipment Rentals Representative
will give a call off number and then schedule the equipment
for a pickup. All customers can pick-up and return rented
equipment if they prefer.

Q: What is the environmental
fee?
The environmental fee is the cost for handling, managing
and/or disposing of waste materials associated with rental
equipment that contains hazardous substances, such as motor
oil, grease, and/or hydraulic fluid, as well as related
administrative costs for the handling of these functions.

Q: Do you provide
equipment operation instructions?
Equipment is provided with operating instructions, safety
instructions and an operators manual. If you require further
assistance, please call your nearest Centreline Equipment
Rentals location. Visit our

page to see the classes we offer to customers on specific
equipment or operations.

Q: What if I have problems
with a piece of rental equipment?
Our equipment is maintained to the highest standard, and
goes through a quality control checklist before each rental.
However, if you have any problems, Centreline Equipment
Rentals provides 24 hour rental assistance (after hours
service charges may apply).
